Mama Says Cut Loose
Dimly lit and proudly lived,
Beneath the stage, in the orchestra pit,
On the final day of a cut loose tale.
Mama says the world is turning too,
We're dancing like giants but wearing Plutos shoes.
Footsteps showering down in an Autumn storm
In this almost paradise that we adorn.

Trailing perfume on his stage bound route.
Heaven help the man with his labours.
Let's hear it for our Romeos
Bowing out in their last show,
As Juliets sing their siren sounds
The curtain call has come around.
Mama says the world is turning too,
We're dancing like giants but wearing Plutos shoes.
